5+ Months...

It's been over five months and life is great. We found out about a months after the wedding that we are expecting. What a surprise that was. I didn't know how to feel about it at first because I had a plan. Of course I know plans do not always or very rarely work out the way you want it to. Then I started getting really excited. We just found out last Wednesday that It's a BOY!! It felt so good to finally know the sex of the baby. We didn't care what they baby was but just finding out was such a relief. heheh Now it's time to go buy baby stuff.

The baby is due March 31st-ish.

6 days Left

Its right around the corner. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Van gave me a big hug today and it really help calm me down. She always knows how to make me feel better. Van has worked so hard on this wedding all for me. I just wanted to let her know I love her more than anything. I love you hunnie!!!

Countdown...

About a week and a half left before the wedding.

We had to change the time of the ceremony to 10:30 from 12:00pm. I had to call the photographer about the change. We now have to have two separate photographers. I'm not happy about that because they will most likely have different shooting styles. We went to finalize the things for the the reception last week. I just have to bring everything in on Thursday the 2nd. We have the groomsmen and bridesmaids gifts. We also have the bakers getting ready to bake our cake. I am keeping my fingers crossed with that. Let's hope it looks very nice. All the dresses are done being altered. I love that Chi Vang turned mine into a bubble dress. =D Thumbs up. I got my earrings, garter, and accessories.

I have started on unpacking the helmets for the place cards. My hand hurts now. =D

Update again when I can.

One month, three days.

It's not creeping up anymore, it's at warp speed now. I'm excited and nervous! 

We're planning on getting our license this week. Still have to:

- talk with the aquarium coordinator

- finalize design of the cake

- get a hairstylist

- do a makeup run with My Den and Hang

- receive response cards and doing a seating chart

- get flowers

- make place cards

- pick songs for all the parts of the reception

- - there's more but I can't remember it all!

I have picked out the hairstyle I like. Thanks to the Knot. =D

The dresses are being altered as I type.

Wedding Cake

Our wedding cake is going to be Eagles Themed. It's going to be three square layers with three different flavors. The bottom is going to be lemon with lemon frosting, the middle layer is going to be raspberry with raspberry frosting and the top layer is chocolate with raspberry frosting. The layers will be off center. I'll post some kind of picture up as soon as possible.

Only 90 days left.

I am working on putting our invitations together.

Ao Dais

So the last month was spent in Vietnam. I was there with my sister. Decided to go to get our Ao Dais made over there. It was so amazingly cheap. The only negative was the "service." It was pretty darn bad. 

I also decided to get our Vietnamese invitations made over there. That was a little difficult also. But in the end it was done and not too bad. 47 invitations for about 20 dollars.

Tasting...

So today we went to the food tasting. Frank, my mom, his mom and I. The food is going to be prepare by Aramark. We had two salads and two entrees. Frank picked them out. I enjoyed the salad with the honey mustard and the beef and salmon was really good. The starches were good too. 

Frank will be going to a bridal thing at the aquarium while I'm away so that we can pick out our hors d'oeuvres.

One thing down....many more to go....

Wedding Favor!

So we have decided on a photobooth for the wedding favor. It will be cute for our guests to have the strip of photos with our names and wedding date. It will be less of a hassle for us because we won't have to deal with setting it up or taking it down. And there will be no extra time used to put our favors together and have it on the tables. One less thing to do......Always a good thing.
